Shipping Policy

Orders are processed in 1–2 business days, Monday through Saturday. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking once your order ships.

Parcel shipping

Most products ship by parcel carrier, with rates calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Standard parcel shipping is free on qualifying orders over $150 with code FREESHIP150 — some exclusions apply.

Free shipping applies to parcel orders only. Exclusions include full pallets and freight shipments, heavy growing media (see below), and oversized or heavy items such as grow tents, large-format lights, and bulk liquid containers (5-gallon and 6-gallon sizes). The code covers standard shipping charges up to $50; if an order's shipping runs higher than that, the code will not apply. Excluded items still ship at our regular calculated rates — the exclusion only removes the free option.

Heavy soil & growing media

Single bags of soil, coco, and other heavy growing media are available for local pickup or local delivery only — they are not shipped by parcel.

Full pallets — freight delivery

Full pallets of soil and coco ship by freight with an appointment delivery:

• Northeast: $150
• East: $199
• Central: $249
• West: $299

At checkout you can add liftgate service ($50), limited-access delivery ($50), or residential delivery ($125) if your site needs them. Pallet freight is not available to Alaska or Hawaii — call us at 978-278-5898 and we will see what we can do.

Please inspect your pallet before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt (BOL) and let us know within 48 hours so we can make it right.

Local pickup

Pickup is free at our Peabody store: 82 Newbury St, Peabody, MA 01960. Pickup orders are usually ready in 2–4 business days — we will email you when your order is ready.
